AIDA Stadium Tour postponed until 2018
Promoters announce new dates for the stadium extravaganza
Unfortunately we have to postpone the AIDA Stadium Tour until 2018.
The reason for the postponement is the complex, logistical and structural implementation of the 250 ton and 60 metre-wide stage design, which, in contrast to the planning up until this point, is more elaborate and more complicated than previously thought. This affects the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, venue for the already top-selling opening show on 27 May 2017, as well as the subsequent scheduled dates across Europe e.g. Munich, Hamburg and Vienna. “The logistical and structural problems responsible for the postponement have now been resolved. We sincerely regret the postponement and apologize for any inconveniences caused to all ticket holders and all those involved”, explained Daniel Daum, Managing Director at Art und Entertainment LIVE GmbH.
The option of rescheduling the open air tour in August / September or autumn / winter 2017 has been excluded due to the as yet unknown (Soccer)Bundesliga fixture list and weather-related reasons.
Plácido Domingo, who accompanies this major project as artistic director and conductor, and whose dream has always been to make the opera experience accessible to large audiences, will be available for the dates in 2018.
Can I keep my purchased ticket for the new date?
Yes, the tickets already purchased are still valid for the new dates. The tickets won’t have to be exchanged and will keep their validity also in regards to the seat reservation, the dates and the venue for the new dates in 2018.
Can I return my ticket?
Yes, the tickets can be refunded by each respective ticket agency.
